A practical space for testing, adapting, and implementing European quality assurance tools in Ukraine’s vocational education and training institutions.
Bringing the European Quality Framework into Ukrainian VET Practice
EQAVET Lab is an innovative initiative designed to introduce the European Quality Assurance Reference Framework for Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) in Ukraine.
The project creates a practical environment for testing, adapting, and implementing modern quality assurance tools in vocational education and training institutions, taking into account labour market needs and European standards.
The laboratory is being established at the Interregional Higher Vocational School of Motor Transport and Construction in Lviv with the support of Google for Education.
To strengthen the institutional capacity of vocational education and training providers through the implementation of EQAVET, the development of a quality culture, self-evaluation, and effective cooperation with employers.

A Practical Model That Can Be Replicated and Scaled
EQAVET Lab demonstrates a practical and replicable approach to introducing European quality standards into Ukraine’s vocational education and training system. The project lays the foundation for scaling this experience to other VET institutions, strengthens employers’ confidence in graduates, and supports the integration of Ukrainian vocational education into the European education area.
